Account data: When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (hashed, never stored in plain text). You may optionally provide your name, Instagram handle, and profile preferences.
Competition data: Lifter profiles, meet results, rankings, and competition statistics are sourced from publicly available databases including OpenPowerlifting (openpowerlifting.org) and federation result sheets. This data is public record published by competition organizers.
Usage data: We collect anonymized analytics (page views, feature usage) via Plausible Analytics, which does not use cookies or track personal data.
User-generated content: Status updates, comments, reactions, training logs, and other content you voluntarily post on the platform.
PowerliftIQ features a collectible card system using lifter names and competition statistics from public records. Card artwork is AI-generated and is not a photograph of the lifter. Cards are fan-created content and are not endorsed by, affiliated with, or approved by the featured lifters or their federations.
Any lifter featured in the card system may request removal at any time (see "Your Rights" below).
If you have an account: You can opt out of the card system via Account > Settings > "Remove my card from collection." This permanently deletes your card from the registry and all user collections. You can also delete your entire account from the same settings page.
If you do not have an account: You can request removal of your data by emailing support@powerliftiq.com with the subject "Data Removal Request." Include your full name as it appears on competition results so we can locate your profile. We will process removal requests within 7 business days.
What removal covers: Upon request, we will remove your trading card from the registry and gallery, delete any AI-generated artwork, and hide your profile from search and rankings. Competition results sourced from public databases (OpenPowerlifting) may still be available on those original sources.
Data is stored on Cloudflare's global network (D1 database, R2 object storage, KV cache). Sessions are encrypted and expire automatically. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties.
We use a single session cookie (pliq_session) for authentication. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. Theme and unit preferences are stored in your browser's localStorage.
